We love Pelham Family Martial Arts! And FAMILY really is the key word! They make your whole family feel like part of theirs! Our oldest has been enrolled since the start of the school year. Sifu and Elijah know the names of our other two younger children since the start! They greet us all and make everyone feel welcome. There is something really special about the way they interact with each child in class! My daughter loves her classes and I love seeing her make so much progress not only physically but the concentration and respect that goes along with it! So glad we tried them out last summer during their camp!
My son and step son have taken the little ninja class over the last year. We have had such a positive experience. Instructors are great and interact so well with the kids, teaching them & keeping them focused, all while having fun. They offer multiple classes each day and are extremely flexible, which works well for anyone who has a busy schedule like we do! Nothing but great things to say and would recommend them to anyone!
Our daughter has been taking classes here for several years, and we love it! The teachers are great and they create a wonderful community atmosphere, where they build a relationship with your child and make sure they are learning karate as well as important life lessons. It is a great place!

I can’t say enough about Family Martial Arts, my 9-year old son started as a Little Ninja when he was 5 and we just started our 6 year old there. Sifu and Elijah are awesome, as are all the leadership team, just really great with the kids. It’s more than just the blocks, kicks and punches, the instruction includes excellent life lessons about discipline and hard work… add in some funny jokes from Sifu and you have yourself a great time. Good wholesome fun and physical activity.
My 8 year old son started coming this past summer because he has struggled with bullies and lack of confidence. From the time he started to now (which is only four months), he has already gained confidence in himself . He is able to speak up and defend himself. Elijah and Bert Cunningham are fantastic. Teaching the kids in a fun environment, but focusing on discipline and the value of hard work. I recommend this for anyone who is looking to bring their kids to learn martial arts but also learn to be confident in themselves. The schedule is perfect for a mom like myself with multiple children in different activities. The place is always clean, well taken care of and overall an excellent enrichment for kids. Five star recommendation :)

What an amazing dojo! From the experienced and kind staff to the cleanliness, Sifu and his team are top notch. My son started at age 4 and has continued to earn his stripes. Teachers make the classes both instructional and fun for the kids. Also, they build in lessons for the little ninjas related to respect, listening, sharing etc.
The Little Ninja program has been amazing for my 4 year old. Sifu, Elijah and the other instructors are engaging, dynamic, and lead by example to help teach the kids the physical skills, but also the mental ones of focus, discipline, and good work ethic. My son gets so excited when it's a "karate day" and looks forward to going week after week.
Great caring instructors who push students to be their best. Teach technique as well as respect inside and outside of the dojo all while having fun. My son has found a love of karate and looks forward to class!

My 5-year son has been learning Karate at the Family Martial Arts of Pelham since Sept. of 2021. The instructors are the absolute best; they are so patient with the little ones! He has been able to gain self-confidence and an understanding of discipline while having an absolute blast! As a parent, I love the flexibility to pick any two classes per week that work for our schedule. Being able to change things up due to a schedule conflict is an absolute must! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for Karate lessons for their children.
My daughter has been training with Family Martial Arts for about six years and she loves every minute of it. The instructors are amazing with the kids. They really take the time to make sure the students understand what is being taught and will make sure they get caught up if they miss a lesson. I highly recommend this dojo to help teach your children discipline, respect, and most of all fun! Update: I started taking adult classes last year (early 2022) and I am really enjoying the curriculum and the exercise!
Family Martial Arts of Pelham has been a wonderful experience for my son and daughter. My children have been taking lessons at the dojo for 4 years now. While learning Karate, my son is also gaining self- confidence and an understanding of discipline and having fun too!
